FITkit CAN Implementation
Jančo, Tomáš ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes main principles of communication on CAN bus, design and implementation of CAN bus controller. The controller is implemented in VHDL for school development platform FITkit. This work also describes design of CAN physical layer circuits for connecting FITKit to CAN bus.
Sound Module for Evaluation Kit
Priškin, Jiří ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Sysel, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with design and putting into operation of sound module for evaluation kit Atmel ATSTK1000. At the beginning, there is an introduction with properties, hardware and software equipment of the evaluation kit which is used for development of embedded devices based on AT32AP7000. The microcontroller AP7000 is a complete system on chip with an AVR32 microprocessor core, containing additional supporting circuits, controllers and interfaces which the core itself does not have included. However, there is no digital to analog converter for audio signal processing. This has led to design an additional module performing this task. A part of thesis describes Intel AC‘97 standard including AC-link interface, which is used for full-duplex data transmission between realized sound module and the evaluation kit STK1000. The sound module is designed as a plug-in card. The last chapter presents the Linux operating system installation process as an SD/MMC Flash memory card boot image creation and test of the sound module under ALSA architecture.
Specialized Computer System Automatic Control
Opálka, Jan ; Šátek, Václav (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the automatic control of calculations of specialized system. The reader is acquainted with the numerical solution of differential equations by Taylor series method and numerical integrators. The practical aim of this work is to analyze parallel characteristics of Taylor series method, specification of parallel math operations and design of control of this operations.
Design of optimal utilization of company's data capacities
Odehnal, Tomáš ; Hrbáček, Miroslav (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the problem of storage capacities of server discs in the allowance organization of Brno City Museum. The organization has long-lasting troubles with insufficient capacity of these discs. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current state and to propose a suitable solution on the basis of the results of this analysis. Further, the suggested measures should be applied as well.
GPS for Teaching HW/SW Platform
Pajgrt, Ondřej ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Fučík, Otto (advisor)
The work deals with a connection between HW/SW platform FITkit and GPS device. Introduces GPS systems from theoretical and practical view desribes FITkit teaching platform and its common use and shows in detail the connection of those two systems into a cooperative unit. Work also analyses communication interfaces and protocols used for that connection. Finally it provides a description of tho whole system data flow from the very beginning in GPS unit to the final displaying on the screen and description of implementation and application usage.
Automatic Computation Control
Opálka, Jan ; Šátek, Václav (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the automatic control of numerical calculations. The reader is acquainted with the numerical solution of differential equations and the parallel, serial, and series-parallel numerical integrator. The practical aim of this work is to design control circuits for the three mentioned variants of integrators. The design includes the development of a software simulator of the control circuit for the series-parallel integrator in a fixed point.
Exploitation of HDMI Interface on Minerva Educational Platform
Marek, Jan ; Čekan, Ondřej (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to explore the possibilities of video transfer via HDMI interface. Based on the results a circuit driver TFP410 will be designed, and both the circuit driver and generator of video data for this circuit will be implemented. The target platform in this thesis is school learning developing kit Minerva with MCU Freescale (NXP) Kinetis K60and FPGA Xilinx Spartan 6. The designed solution of the controller is a device controller which transfers communication from MCU to HDMI/DVI digital transmitter TI TFP410. MCU communicates with the device controller over FlexBus. All communication between the transmitter and the controller is realized over I2C bus. The device controller interface and MCU driver library must provide easy usage. The functionality of both the controller and MCU library is demonstrated on two demo applications (games Tetris and Sokoban).
Design and Analysis of Computer Center Management System
Reniers, Petr ; Lukáš, Roman (referee) ; Fiala, Jiří (advisor)
With arrival of the internet new types of easily accesible web applications and systems developed on standard technologies have begun to emerge. Nowadays we cannot even imagine the world without these systems. They have garnished massive popularity among users and developers while being created for the internet applications as well as corporate intranet applications. Considering an emergence of object oriented desing and design patterns it is important to test these modern tools on developement of an information system. This thesis acts just this problem. I develope computer center managment system, which serves for better management of firms.
Laboratory board demonstrates CAN bus
Levek, Vladimír ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this thesis, is proposal of the laboratory board demonstrates communication by the help of bus CAN. Laboratory boards, controlled with microprocessor, will be send statuses inputs and outputs with each other. Also it will can be transmit and receive messages by the help of the serial port RS-232. With protocol CAN will be send this information: Temperature, Lighting, Analog input 0 - 5 V, Analog output 0 - 5 V, Digital input level TTL and digital output type open collector.
Design Patterns for Web Applications
Dudek, Jan ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
With the coming of the web a brand new type of client-server applications based on standard web technologies has started to appear. These technologies are available on an overwhelming majority of client stations and don't need any additional software to be installed. As a result web applications have gained popularity among both users and developers and are currently deployed not only on the Internet, but also on company intranets. Considering present expansions of such applications it is important to summarize tested and approved approaches usable in their design. And it is this particular work that describes the chosen design patterns applicable in web applications development and demonstrates their usage on both concrete existent systems and a custom sample application.
